Gwynne Fawr.

A lovely family day was had with a nice drive down the Gwynne fawr valley in wales. A picnic by the car folllowed by a walk up to the resevoir. I didn't think for a minute that any of the gang would make it to the top. A 3 km walk . The kids were motivated by a challenge that who got to the top first to see if they could get a mobile phone signal and it worked we all made it to the top and back again. we were very lucky with the weather too. They tested the echo on the resevoir well. The views on the decent from the top track were lovely for the time of year, 24th september 2006.

Newt.

While fishing in the garden pond for a mobile phone bros caught a newt. We know there are a few newts in the pond so we took some quick pics of this one , it even showed us its belly markings. the mobile phone was also recovered , dried out and amazingly it worked again.
