I opened my garden shed to find this well made wasp nest on the inside roof, thankfully it didn't get any bigger or my shed could av been locked all summer.


Look at that, two lots of red sky at night in one week,,,,,,,,,nice one hey.

Pond life.


One of my local little pond sites, above the lovely blue banded Damselfly, and top the Mute swan that started with ten signets but only six left now, a nasty predator about this pond ?.

Wild Flowers.



Bluebells, everybody loves them, These were at Wallbrook woods, nr Aconbury, Herefordshire.

Now this is a beauty, this is the most flowers it has ever had on it, and everyone wants a cutting this year, it is '' montana Elizabeth Treetower''.

Now this Red Valerian has gone a bit wild in the garden but it does attract that wonderfull ''hummingbird hawk moth'', so i let it keep growing.

Allways a good show of this blue Geranium. Also have a pink variety in this one but much smaller in size and show.

This ''jackmani'' clematis has a pretty little flower but not a very lot of flowers and always end up with mildew, perhaps it needs treating a bit better.

Love in the mist or otherwise known as nigela. I do get some pink flowering shades but they r very small and few between.
